Who is your President?

Please look at the following two sites -- take the quizzes and share what you learned! If you don't know what an issue is, this would be the time to do just a little research. What are the most important issues to you in the upcoming election? Who is your President?

For the first quiz, I was most like Giuliani which makes sense because I am a bit more conservative than liberal. I thought it was interesting that I was only one point away from Edwards who is a democrat.

Giuliani 31
Edwards 30

I liked taking these quizzes because I was able to find out more about the main issues faced in this presidential campaign. I feel that the Iraq war is probably the most important to me, but also universal healthcare and immigration. Those are my top priorities at the moment.

I knew I'd be a democrat, and I turned out to be Bill Richardson for the first quiz and Kucinich for the second quiz(who I have never heard of until now, but would like to know more about because of our similar views)

It was kind of a wake up call for me to read these quizzes. I couldn't even come to a conclusion about some of the questions, like ANWR drilling, because I didn't know a thing about it! Since I'll be voting next year (ahhhh!) I definitely want to become more involved in the political issues going on in the world so I know exactly who to vote for in the next election.

I got very mixed results
I got Dodd then Hilary in the first test.
In the second one, they were 6th and 4th down the list, respectively. I got Kunich for the second test.

After reading what Andrea and Amanda said, I also had a big wake up call. First of all, its really sad that I didn't know exactly what I thought about the various positions.

But I thought it was interesting that I sided with the argument I learned about. For example, in APES we obviously talk about how horrible it is to drill in Alaska for oil for its ecosystem. We looked at a chart that showed that if we did drill in Alska, in the grand scheme of things, it would make virtually no difference in the amount of oil available and needed. Thus, right when I saw ANWR drilling, I opposed it. I have not read about the supporting argument and thus have a one sided view to the subject. I thought it was interesting how my belief was based on a one pointed view from APES class.

kucinich all the way.

hype for obama is out of control right now, atleast among people my age.

there was a big "youtube" presidential campaign that was supposed to revolutionize this election, but so far it seems like it made no difference at all.

how do u guys stay up to date on news/presidential race? any good sites?
